How sourcing works
What does Zentior actually do?
We source industrial components from audited manufacturers in Asia. We are not a broker — we have a team permanently based in China who visits factories, supervises production and inspects parts before they ship. Your contact is always in Switzerland, operating under European standards.
How is Zentior different from a trading company or agent?
A typical agent forwards your drawing to a factory and waits. Zentior reviews your drawing for manufacturability, selects the right manufacturer from our audited network, monitors production on-site and inspects finished parts before shipment. One contract, one contact, full accountability.
Do you audit my existing suppliers?
Yes. While we primarily source from our network of audited manufacturers, we also offer factory audit and on-site inspection services for suppliers you are already using. See our Factory Audit service page for more detail.
Minimum order quantities
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. We handle orders from a single prototype to production runs of thousands. The quality control process — drawing review, supplier selection, on-site inspection — remains the same regardless of volume.
Lead times & Logistics
How quickly can I receive a quotation?
We respond to all enquiries within 48 hours. For straightforward parts, we often come back faster. For complex assemblies, 48 hours is our committed maximum.
What are the shipping options from Asia?
We offer a range of options to balance cost and urgency. You can choose Air Freight for rapid delivery, Rail Freight for a middle-ground solution, or Sea Freight for the most cost-effective bulk transport. We manage the full logistics chain so parts arrive at your door cleared and ready to use.
Quality and documentation
What quality documentation comes with every order?
Every Zentior delivery includes a dimensional inspection report and a material certificate as standard. These are produced by our team in Asia using calibrated equipment, ensuring data integrity.
What if a part fails inspection?
Non-conforming parts do not ship. Our on-site team identifies issues during production or final inspection. We then work with the manufacturer to rework or replace the parts immediately. You are informed of the hold, and parts are only released once they pass reinspection.
